Paul Harder II, DDS

"I knew that I wanted to become a dentist from the time I was in seventh grade. Watching my father’s devotion to his practice and personal care for his patients attracted me to the profession as I grew older. After earning my dental degree, I found myself returning to my boyhood home and joining the practice my father helped build back in 1962."

A lifetime of knowledge through education

"A strong education is vital to becoming an exceptional dentist. I think it’s important to remain current with the latest tools and technologies. Today’s dentistry is virtually painless, with lots of options available. My patients appreciate this level of care. They also appreciate the fact that we have fun at work. Helping people in a fun environment is very gratifying to me."

DDS: University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry
BA: Biology, Westminster College, Fulton, MO

Actively involved in professional associations

"As dentistry improves and adapts to advances in both technique and technology, it’s important to me that I stay current with what’s new. That’s why I’m a member of many different dental organizations. By meeting my colleagues and engaging in professional discourse, I can continue to grow as a dentist. Plus, it is very satisfying to see the positive impact in a patient’s life by creating a more beautiful smile. That’s why I decided to become a dentist."

Member: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, Missouri Dental Association, Northeast Missouri District Dental Society, Great River Dental Study Club

Giving something back to the community

"As a native of Hannibal, I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful family and such a rewarding career. That’s why it’s important to me to give something back to this wonderful community. I will always find the time to make things better in my hometown."
