“There are many different ways to get a positive outcome from orthodontic treatment. I like patients to participate in their treatment, because it leads to the best end result. I collaborate with patients, giving them suggestions and treating them like I would someone in my own family. It’s also important that the treatment is fun, which is a big part of my care.”

Training and education for exceptional care

“I became interested in the field of orthodontics after wearing braces myself. Later, I was fortunate enough to have my orthodontist train me as one of his assistants. Today, what I love the most is seeing the amazing changes orthodontics can make in a patient’s smile and self-confidence; it’s very rewarding.”

DDS: University of Texas, Houston, TX
Master of Science: Orthodontics, University of Texas, Houston, TX

Dedicated to creating beautiful smiles

“I love the artistry involved in creating beautiful smiles for children, adolescents, and adults. It’s exciting to work with all the proven new technologies because they give patients so many treatment options and truly exceptional results.”

Director: Missouri for Midwest Society of Orthodontists
Member: American Association of Orthodontists

A commitment to patient education

“There are so many misconceptions about orthodontic care, and a lot of patients have outdated ideas about what is available to them. I enjoy the unique challenges presented by each treatment plan, and achieving the best possible result for each individual patient is always my goal.”

In her spare time, Dr. Mennemeyer enjoys baseball, football, boating, travel, and spending time with her husband and two children, James and Grace.

Rhonda

I enjoy working for Hannibal Dental Group because they are dedicated to families. My journey with Hannibal Dental Group began in 1972 with Dr. Erv Harder. I took a few years off to start my family. I returned in 1985 and worked until 2008, when I left to help care for my grandchildren. My return in 2012 was working for 4 days a month to help with our Orthodontist. Presently, I am also working as a Financial Advisor, filling in while co-workers are off. It is always a pleasure working my former co-workers as well as new co-workers. One of my biggest pleasures is serving the patients that I have grown to know over the years and meeting new patients.

Nancy

Hey! I'm one of the oldest here at Hannibal Dental Group, so just call me "Granny" like my 3 grandchildren do. I'm a lot like the Beverly Hillbillies Granny was (not quite, but close!) on our Country Homestead, where my husband and I raised our two children.

I started my dental training and job shadowing in high school. I continued this journey for 10 years working as a Dental Assistant and Lab Technician. Reception and finance were designated to me at times, although assisting with the patients was my favorite.

A career change came along and enticed me to go to college and get my cosmetology license. This I am still doing after 30 years, although part time now. Hard work and aching hands prompted me to cut back at the salon.

Vicki and the Doctors gave me the opportunity to see if I still remembered dentistry! I've been working with Dr. Mennemeyer now in the field of orthodontics. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the changes in our orthodontic patients. We're very proud of these people, both young and not so young, that work hard with us towards making their beautiful smile.

Mindy

My name is Mindy. I have been in dentistry for over 10 years. I have worked in several spectrums of the office. I started out being a dental assistant in general dentistry, now I work in the orthodontic field. I have also in the past worked in the business side of the office. I enjoy dentistry because each day gives me something new to learn or see. I also enjoy painting, horseback riding and being a mother to my two sons.
