Joshua J. Ricker, DDS
"Daily contact with people is what I like most about being a dentist. I enjoy using my abilities to enhance the smiles, self-confidence, and overall health of my patients.”
Dentist in Hannibal, MO
In dentistry, every day brings a new challenge. Also, each patient is a unique individual and requires customized treatment. That’s why Dr. Ricker is very thankful for the solid foundation of knowledge he received in dental school. His extensive training has given him the capability to meet these everyday challenges, with long-lasting, superb results for his patients.
Dr. Ricker’s state-of-the-art education in dental school has provided him the tools needed to deliver quality dental care to his patients. In order to maintain the highest quality of care, he continues to advance his education and expand upon his current dental knowledge and skills.
Improved Care Through Shared Knowledge
Another way Dr. Ricker continues to increase his dental knowledge is by staying active with professional associations. By meeting with other dentists, he can get practical feedback on the advantages of the latest techniques and dental equipment. This professional networking also provides an opportunity to learn about particular dental challenges, how they were treated, and what was learned in the process.

Hello there I'm DeJia, just like Deja Vu but without the Vu! I am a Registered Dental Hygienist here at Hannibal Dental Group. I graduated from Carl Sandburg College in 2022 with an associates in applied sciences (AAS) degree in dental hygiene. Being a hygienist is not only satisfying, it is extremely valuable. Watching the reactions of my patients overwhelmed with satisfaction after a needed cleaning, proves that I am where I need to be. Aside from hygiene work, I enjoy meditating, working out, traveling, and cooking. I am a big family person and spend most of my time enjoying their company and making memories. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and making new ones. Being from Quincy and new to the environment I thought could be challenging, but it hasn't prevented me from already building long-lasting relationships here at Hannibal Dental Group!
My name is Catrina, but please call me Trina. I truly love being a dental assistant. It's very rewarding because I get to make a difference in someone’s life by helping to make their smile beautiful. I also truly enjoy volunteering at the Hannibal Free Dental Clinic. It is very rewarding and the patients are so very appreciative of us. It warms my heart to help others in their time of need.
I enjoy caring for the patients who are terrified of the dentist because I used to be that person. I remember how the dental assistant I had held my hand to calm my fears; she made me feel secure and believe that everything was going to be ok. Now I get to do the same for Hannibal Dental Group patients!
I enjoy getting to meet new people on a daily basis and constantly be doing something different. I like sharing my knowledge of dentistry and helping patients understand why a particular treatment is needed. I can honestly say my work is my passion and my life.
In addition, I love 80s music and music in general. I am happily married, have three wonderful kids, and love spending time with family and friends
I have been working with Hannibal Dental Group since 2016. I took the Dental Assisting Program offered by the group in 2014 with Dr Ricker and Dr. Harder. I grew up in Hannibal and I am a wife and mother of two children, Jared and Charlee. The most rewarding part of being a dental assistant is being a part of giving someone back their smile. In my free time, I also volunteer at the free clinic.
Hi, my name is Jordan. I have worked at Hannibal Dental Group since September, 2021. I have lived in Hannibal my whole life and graduated in 2017. I married my high school sweetheart, Brock. Together we have two dogs, Hank and Nala. In my free time you will catch me at home watching Netflix, watching my husband build derby cars, or sitting at a Demo Derby. I love my job here at HDG and the people I work with. The best part of my job is meeting new people, getting to know them, and seeing them love their smile. I also enjoy the new things I learn daily, and always having something to do.
Hi, My name is Samantha. I live in Hannibal and have my whole life. I've always came to Hannibal Dental Group for my teeth. I have a husband and daughter.
