Joshua J. Ricker, DDS
"Daily contact with people is what I like most about being a dentist. I enjoy using my abilities to enhance the smiles, self-confidence, and overall health of my patients.”
Dentist in Hannibal, MO
In dentistry, every day brings a new challenge. Also, each patient is a unique individual and requires customized treatment. That’s why Dr. Ricker is very thankful for the solid foundation of knowledge he received in dental school. His extensive training has given him the capability to meet these everyday challenges, with long-lasting, superb results for his patients.
Advanced Education
Dr. Ricker’s state-of-the-art education in dental school has provided him the tools needed to deliver quality dental care to his patients. In order to maintain the highest quality of care, he continues to advance his education and expand upon his current dental knowledge and skills.
Improved Care Through Shared Knowledge
Another way Dr. Ricker continues to increase his dental knowledge is by staying active with professional associations. Dr. Ricker’s Team
My name is Cheryl and I live in Winfield, Missouri, with my three dogs and a cat. As you can tell, I am an avid animal lover.
I originally graduated from Arkansas State University in 1994 with a bachelor of science in psychology. Upon graduating, I worked for the state of Missouri for 18 years. After feeling unsatisfied with my career in the public sector, I attended Missouri College and received my associate degree in dental hygiene in 2013.
I started working at Hannibal Dental Group in November 2017. This has definitely been the right career path as I love what I do, love helping people, and love the work environment here. The doctors and my co-workers make this a great place to work.
I look forward to seeing you and helping your smile be the best that it can be.
Trina
My name is Catrina, but please call me Trina. I truly love being a dental assistant. It's very rewarding because I get to make a difference in someone’s life by helping to make their smile beautiful. I also truly enjoy volunteering at the Hannibal Free Dental Clinic. It is very rewarding and the patients are so very appreciative of us. It warms my heart to help others in their time of need.
I enjoy caring for the patients who are terrified of the dentist because I used to be that person. I remember how the dental assistant I had held my hand to calm my fears; she made me feel secure and believe that everything was going to be ok. Now I get to do the same for Hannibal Dental Group patients!
I enjoy getting to meet new people on a daily basis and constantly be doing something different. I like sharing my knowledge of dentistry and helping patients understand why a particular treatment is needed. I can honestly say my work is my passion and my life.
In addition, I love 80s music and music in general. I am happily married, have three wonderful kids, and love spending time with family and friends.
Marci
Hi, my name is Marci. I have worked as a dental assistant and public relations assistant. What I love about my job at Hannibal Dental Group is that every day is different. I enjoy the challenges that each day brings.
My husband Jeff and I have three beautiful children: Zoey, Elijah, and Lexus. I enjoy spending time with my family, going camping, and being outside.
Jeana
I am a dental assistant for Dr. Josh Ricker. My job is rewarding in so many ways. Due to the variety of work we do, no two days are ever the same. Dentistry is continuously changing, and it is gratifying to see our team learn more in order to give our patients the very best care and dental experience.
Our team takes pride in knowing we've helped transform even the most anxious, nervous, and fearful patients; they come to trust us, knowing we will be there for them. Getting to know our patients on a personal level like they are part of our own family may be the greatest reward of all.
Megan
I have been working with Hannibal Dental Group since 2016. I took the Dental Assisting Program offered by the group in 2014 with Dr Ricker and Dr. Harder. I grew up in Hannibal and I am a wife and mother of two children, Jared and Charlee. The most rewarding part of being a dental assistant is being a part of giving someone back their smile. In my free time, I also volunteer at the free clinic.
