Paul Harder II, DDS
"I knew that I wanted to become a dentist from the time I was in seventh grade. Watching my father’s devotion to his practice and personal care for his patients attracted me to the profession. After earning my dental degree, I found myself returning to my boyhood home and joining the practice my father helped build back in 1962."

Dr. Harder’s Team
Hi, my name is Carol! I work for Dr. Paul Harder and I love being a dental assistant. I get to meet so many different people. Adults and children alike may come in scared, so I do my best to calm them down. I tell them we are here to help, not hurt.
I'm married to my wonderful husband, Gary, and have two sons, Dillon and Jake (with daughter-in-law Liz). I also have two beautiful grandsons, Nash and Noah. They are my world.
Hello, my name is Shelby, but everyone calls me Shelb! I began my dental assistant career with Dr. Paul Harder in 2017. Being a dental assistant is rewarding in several ways. I enjoy interacting with our patients and getting getting to know them on a personal level. Being able to help our patients create a healthy and confident smile is one of our favorite things to do! We always go above and beyond to make sure our patients are comfortable in every way possible. I like to help patients that are nervous or scared by talking them through the treatment and why it's important that they came in. I grew up in Hannibal and now live in Saverton with my husband and our daughter, Addison. I enjoy spending time with family, friends and cheering on the St. Louis Blues!
Hi, my name is Madi, and I work as a dental assistant for Dr. Paul Harder. All my life I've loved working with people and helping people. I knew this would be a good job for me, and I love it! I enjoy making people feel comfortable and happy. I started working for Dr. Harder in 2021. I also work part-time at another job as well. In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities, making projects, going out on the lake, being with family and friends, and just living life to the fullest! I live in Monroe City with my mini aussie, Indy, and Calico cat, Pudge. I enjoy taking care of my patients and look forward to always meeting new ones... Go Chiefs!
Hello, my name is Brooke. I am one of Dr. Harder's Dental Assistants. I live in the little town of Perry, MO with my other half Trent, along with our blended family of four, Paisley, Adley, Casen and Rylen. I enjoy going camping with my family at the Mark Twain Lake and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. I began my dental career in 2018 after I completed my dental assisting program in Columbia, MO. The best part of my job is being able to meet and interact with new patients every day and helping them create a healthy, confident smile!
